Concepts & Tools

The project is utilizing and innovating on a variety of participatory tools and approaches for sustainable management of agricultural biodiversity in the mountain environments. Some of these are good practices that have been tested and also widely promoted, such as four cell analysis and diversity fairs, while others such as diversity field school are being piloted in the project. The working contexts and priorities of rural communities vary from village and village. Hence, it is important to realize that no one size fits all approach will succeed. Hence, through this space, the project team will share the concepts, tools and approaches we have been using that other practitioners can test, modify and re-purpose for their own contexts.
